The Lonely Man
The Lonely Man is a deeply personal project that explores Nicky’s childhood relationship with his father. Working akin to a painter with a canvas, the stunning, seventeen-piece tableau was meticulously created with hand-built sets and photographed over many months. With a fine art style influenced by cinematography, the striking series plays with light, colour and narrative.
Both beautiful and moving, The Lonely Man has garnered outstanding coverage across the creative industry, including press and awards from the AOP, D&AD, IPA and the Creative Review.
