Mundari Cattle Camp
Fascinated with the cattle-herding camps of South Sudan, Alexa recently spent three days photographing a semi-nomadic Sudanese tribe and their majestic herd of Ankole-Watusi cattle. As sundown approaches, and the long-horned cows graze, a mix of ethereal light and acrid smoke from burning fires fills the sky - creating an evocative backdrop for Alexa's latest travel series.
