A Very Fine Affair
Alexa recently captured this stunning fashion story at the local Catholic Church in Capricorn Park, Cape Town. Working with a local tailor, and sourcing colourful fabrics with a mix of traditional prints, Alexa captured the fashion series set against the backdrop of a Malawian Church wedding.
“I loved the idea of mixing the shoot up with some reportage shots at the church, and then capturing some more detail orientated shots on a background. As luck would have it, we were invited to shoot an actual Malawian wedding which was pretty emotive - I think everyone was moved by the warmness and humour of the congregation and the wonderful choir".
